I used to have this song on an mp3. It was posted by someone on my friends list long ago. I've lost all that music last week when my external harddrive crashed. (sniff) I've googles and I checked amazon and all I've found is this video on youtube.
I don't even really know what they are saying, but I like it anyway.

Why am I the one aways getting the water dammage?
Yesterday morning the manager knocked on the door early and asked us to check our bedroom closset for water leeks. Sure enough the floor was wet in the cornner. We were heading out, planning to be gone most of the day. we moved everthing from tht side of the closet. Manager said if it getts much worse call the emercency number.

It wasn't worse last night when we went to bed, but when we went to get ready to go out this morning it had spred into the room. We have borrowed the wet-vac and used it a few times. Tomorrow someone is comming to find out where the leek is comming from. It is effecting all three units that are in that corrner. Joy-o-joy...not!

Today was the last free day we have till the end of June. Yesterday was the "McCollin Family Reniun", Used to gather the folks together for some fun and game, paperwork updating, dues paying, mini workshopping, and campe-out. It's a "Family Renunin" because the park charges much less for family reuniuns than for club gatherings.

Next Saterday is Fair Regerstration for Southen Rennasones Fair in Inerwindale. And of course my son and daughter's clothes are too short, or too torn, or whatever. I've lost weight so I need to alter my boddice and make a new skirt too. Blagh! More sewing.

Hubby was in a good mood last weekend and encuruaged me and my daughter to go ahead and sign up for a wood turnning class on the 12th. We will get to make and turn our own fancy wooden writing pen. this will be fun. I haven't turnned wood before.

Last week we had a "family night out"... to the dentest. My daughter came out the winner. My son and I go back Tusday for filling, him 2 me 3. Hubby didn't need any fillings but does need a more than normal cleaning and has to see a speciallest. His appointment is for much latter in the mounth since he can't go in the afternoons and needs the poppular evening appointments.

The new refredigerator is to be delivered on the 4th, and I really want to pull the old one out early to clean under it. -it's going to be icky-

My blood sugar seems to be getting better, more good readings than bad.
Hubby is off getting dinner and shoud be back shortly.

Well have a great week everone. Mines getting beezzy.
Love

last weekend was Hogmanay. I don't have pictures because I did a dumb thing and got to drunk. I missed most of the evening. I did take a pic of my daughter when we were shopping for a dress for her to ware for the party. She's only 13. I sent the pic to her dad through the mobil phone, he sent back, 'get it. I'll get the axe'. She was lovely and looked so grown up.

the image I'm going to us for the back of my taro deck.

I have a child home with a fever. He was home yesterday too, and tomorrow isn't looking to good yet.

Yesterday someone let the air out of my daughter's bike tire at school. The bikes are locked up during the day, but she goes to an afterschool program. When she came out her's and the other bike that was there had both been vandlized. Bugger! It won't be too difficult for hubby to fix, but he didn't have the right wrinch last night. She might have to wait till the weekend. She had minimal day tomorrow for end of semester and gets to ware her pj to school. She's off Friday. If C's back in school, maybe I'll take her to the park. C. got to go a couple of times when he had no school and she did.

My blood sugars avagerae for before and after eating for the past 7 days is 126. the 30 day avarage is 145. I'm improving! I haven't weighed myself in few weeks, Hope I'm still loosing weight too. I have different doc appointment on the 3rd and 5th. Wish me luck.

well, I have dishes to do, books to read, stories to wright, and pictures to create. I need to get off my duff and get started...

have a great week everyone

Challenge # 65 "But what happens when you come to the beginning again?"
Notes: I haven’t written anything in months. Thanks Beginning, for kicking my muses in the keyster.

"But what happens when you come to the beginning again?" Ted asked, looking over Shine’s shoulder at the picknic table they’ed used for a step ladder earler. In their minds they saw that the ground was on fire, and they could hear the the lion that followed behind them just out of sight.

Shine shruged, “I guess, we have to go round around again.” He said. He stepped out along along the top of the eight foot high brick wall. Behind Shine, his friends copyed his every move, including the shurg, in an inpromptue game of follow-the-leader combined with don’t-touch-the-ground’.

Kids are doing better in school, hubby's still working to hard.
Everyone is healthy. My blood sugar is comming down slowley, but so is my weight.
I cant' make learning to eat right a new hobby because a hobby is something you can quit doing if you loose interest. Eating right and checking the blood sugar daily is a lifestile change, weather I wnat to or not...

All our weekends between now and June are almost all booked up with fair prep and fair. Soon you'll see me doing the costume sewing sprint...

We went to the swapmeet Sunday and had a great time. I spent less than $30. and got some great deals and fun stuff. I don't know how much hubby spent, probalby about the same. Between the two of us and the kids we got some great bargons, encluding kitchen towls for 50cents each, (some of my old ones look worse than rags) mens jeans for a buck, some jewlery making tools, some rubber stamps that had never been used for a buck each, (that would be between 8 to 20 dollars new), and some really sweet red fresh cherries. My son found a pair of boniculars. My daughter didn't get in to it and only got some gummybears and ball with a string on it so it comes back to her.

On Monday hubby and I went to the warehouse club store and stocked up on all the paper goods, and other stuff. Today I'm playing jigsaw puzzle with my kitchen trying to find logical and accessable places to put everthing. The whole thing is probably going to be rereanged before I'm done...

Well that's enough for now.
I'll post picts of my latest art projects latter.
Have a good week.

I redid the colors and background on my journal.
I like it...but.
How much geekerey would I need to, put textures (tiled backgronds or texture filterf) in the boxes of color, and how could I put a picture in the header box? I'm using the flexable squares layout.

for the one who requested it
from the Diabetic Cooking magazine

24 large mushrooms (about 1 pound)
1/2 pound ground turkey
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup dry bead crumbs
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
3 Tab reduced-sodium soy sauce, divided
1 egg white, lightly beaten
1 tea mminced fresh ginger
1/8 tea red pepper flakes (optional)

1. Remove stems from mushroms; finey chop enough stems to equal 1 cup. Cook turkey, chopped stems and garlic in medium skillet over medium high heat until turkey is no longer pink, stirring to break up meat. Drain and discard fat. Stir i bread crumbs, reen onions, 2 tablespoons soy suce, egg white, ginger and pepperplakes, if esired; mix well.

2. Preheat broiler. Line broiler pan with foil; insert broiler rack. Coat broiler rack with nonstickcooking spray.

3. Brush mushroom caps lightly wit remaining 1 table spoon soy sauce; spoon 2 teaspoons stuffing into each mushroo cap*. Place stuffed mushroom on prepared broiler rack. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat 5 to 6 minutes or until heated through.

*Mushrom can be made aheat to this point; cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours. Add 1 to minutes to broiling time for chilled mushroooms,. Or, freeze filling in inividual portions. to freeze, place portions on cokie shet or shallow pan; place in freeezer 30 minutes to fir slightly. Transfer to freezer food storage bag and freeze coetely. Thaw in refrigerato before filling mushrroms as directed.

Makes 24 appetizers, (3 filledmushrooms per serving)

Dietary ex. 1 veg, 1 starch

total fat 1g
sat fat 1g
protein 9g
carb 14g
chol 11mg
Dietary fiber 2g
sodium 332mg

My notes: It dosn't take much ground turkey. The lefover meat mix got scrambled into eggs. They were good to. I don't think the egg did anything, with these instructions the egg cooked and didn't make anykind of binder. I used extra soy sauce to sprinkl on top of each mushroom before broiling.

These were really good, and I wanted MORE...but they were all gone :(
